Stowmate® Mobile Storage Unit
The Stowmate® Mobile Storage Unit is a smart, modern alternative to traditional school bag racks and port racks. Designed and made in Australia, it combines strength, flexibility, and style to deliver a safe and practical storage solution for schools, childcare centres, libraries, and community facilities.
With dual 1.2 m double-sided BagTrac™ rails, each unit holds up to 20 hooks (10 per side), making it perfect for everyday school use. For added flexibility, extra hooks can be installed by tightening the spacing when more capacity is needed.
Available with or without heavy-duty castors, the Stowmate® Mobile Unit adapts to your environment. Castor-equipped models feature one braked and one free-wheeling castor per base, making them easy to move and safe to lock in place. Where mobility isn’t appropriate, the fixed (non-castor) option provides a stable, modular storage system that can be configured to suit any layout.
Perfect for those areas where portable storage is in demand — managing overflow bag storage during peak times and events, providing classroom flexibility when furniture is reconfigured, or simply rolling the unit inside at the end of the school day. They’re also an excellent choice when permanently fixed storage isn’t possible, such as under stairwells, in office hallways, performing arts spaces, or sporting areas where bag storage is needed. In OOSH environments, where after-school activities require make-shift storage that can be packed away at day’s end, Stowmate® is the ideal solution. In short, it turns free space into a temporary storage zone that frees up valuable learning and activity areas.
The unit is supplied with 1.2 m rails as standard, but installers can easily adjust these on site by cutting down the rails to fit smaller or awkward areas — making Stowmate® as flexible as your space requires.
Built to last with Tuffstuff™ moulded bases, EcoAL® low-carbon aluminium rails, and powder-coated steel bollards, the Stowmate® Mobile Unit is compatible with our OZIhook®, iHook®, and Euro V2 hook products. Supplied flat-packed for efficient delivery, each unit is quick and easy to assemble on site with basic tools.
